This is project is an worker compensation project which maintains the details of various claim processing information, Claim processing is the term used to describe the entire process of recording incident information and, if needed, creating a claim based on the incident. Claim processing includes recording claim information as an adjuster researches all aspects of the claim as the adjuster verifies the incident details, tracks how much time the employee loses from work because of injuries resulting from the incident, authorizes and tracks the employee’s medical treatment, and ultimately decides how much compensation is owed to the claimant. Claim processing might also involve recording information about legal activity initiated by either the adjuster or the claimant.

An incident is an event that injures or causes the death of an employee while he or she is performing work-related activities; a claim is a request for compensation for an incident
