Project A): Reactive Underwriting III 2007

Description Reactive Underwriting project is to improve handling of Card-member phone or internet requests for account changes that require a risk assessment. This project is to enable real time decision making of Reactive processes. These real time decisions leverage the risk accessing capabilities of the CAS platform to reduce turn around time and provide increased customer service.

Achievements Developed a filtration system for card member screening. Achieved the following client benefits: a) Enhanced customer experience, b) Less repeat requests for customer service and c) Real time decision making & quick turnaround.

Project B): XPT 3 B Change Control 2006 - 2007

Description Project is about the generation of client’s periodic credit card statement by fetching the information from the Legacy database & the new TRIUMPH database. ‘Balance summary’ demand generates the credit card statement every month grouping them based on the billing dates. For converted accounts, last billed details lie in legacy & thus are not available in Triumph. Indicator maintained in the demand decides whether data is pull from legacy and/or Triumph. Project is to route the profiles to get the data from Legacy database for such converted accounts in such scenario.

Achievements Resolved balance enquiry error in a data retrieval system during migration phase of AMEX credit card accounts from Legacy to TRIUMPH system, through coding in VB.net and XML.

Project C): CLP (Customer Level Pricing) Fixed to Variable 2006

Description Project is to implement the functionality of pricing/re-pricing CMs to a lower variable rate and provide them with the flexibility to make different rate type offers. This functionality will allows American Express to re-price Fixed Rate APR to a Variable Rate. The standard purchase calculated APR and DPR information will be included on the CLP reactive disclosure letters sent to successfully re-priced CMs for this project.

Achievements Changed application’s user interface by coding in VB.NET, Javascript and HTML. Previously when a customer requested a lower APR, only a same rate type (fixed to fixed or variable-to-variable) was offered. As per Compliance, all disclosure letters should include standard purchase calculated Annual Percentage Rate (APR) and Daily Periodic Rate (DPR) as mandated by Disclosure Regulations.

Project D): Emerald Savings Accelerator 2005 - 2006

Description Emerald is an Annual Cash Rebate product. This module-involved development of the components required to service the Emerald Card members. It involved 7 hub services to interact with the backend.

Achievements Developed applications in VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML & SQL for generating Emerald Card customer spend report, reward points calculations and card transaction report. Project increased service level for Emerald card members.

Project E): Alero (Mint Credit Card for Teenagers) 2005

Description Amex introduced a new scheme under which a basic cardholder can get credit card (Alero) issued for teenagers in US for a specific amount to be used for specific purpose up to a specified limit. Project is about handling and processing of request received from basic card holders for the issuance of the Alero card based on certain rules and validations.

Achievements Developed from scratch an application tool for the new card. Project is for the business purpose of promoting Increased spending in the American Express network

Project: Virtual Office Management 2004

Description The project developed an application to enable users working for a company to manage project, communicate and efficient share resources through internet or intranet. The main features provided by the system are:

• Post information/queries which will be viewed by the whole or a part of the group.

• Reserve/Unreserved conference room, cab, canteen, chat rooms etc.

• Access to contacts information of the other employees and to update one’s contact information.
