ASSISTANT STRIKE OPERATIONS OFFICER, USS George Washington, Nov. 2010 – May 2011

Developed detailed short and long-range training plan, as well as, the daily Air Plan, and Schedule of Events of a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier battle group for 2 deployments and a shipyard period. Responsible for the tracking of Aircraft Carrier’s $9 Million Operational Target expenditures. Selflessly assumed the position in response to a short-notice loss of manning while maintaining two other full-time positions.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE OFFICER, VX-30 Squadron, Nov. 2009 – Apr. 2010

Organized and supervised the maintenance and repair of 9 aircraft and aviation support equipment and aircraft components through two contract teams of 95 personnel; introduced and designed maintenance programs aimed at four new aircraft type/model series. Saved the Navy thousands of dollars seeking out and executing a more efficient method of painting new aircraft.

SQUADRON TRAINING OFFICER, VX-30 Squadron, Jan. – Oct. 2009

Developed, executed, and managed training plans for over 120 aircrew and ground personnel for VX-30 Squadron. Lead an eleven personnel team in the training plans for 112 personnel which resulted in exemplary marks from the US Navy’s Safety Center.

AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS OFFICER, VX-30 Squadron, May 2008 – Jan. 2009

Responsible for the mission planning, operational readiness, tactical schedules, logs, and records for over 60 aircrew and 9 aircraft in the execution of in-house projects as well as those of 20 other Department of Defense and International Customers.

AIRCRAFT MODIFICATION OFFICER, VX-30 Squadron, Sept. 2007 – Apr. 2008

Responsible for the conception and execution of all VX-30 NAVAIR C-130 aircraft structural changes, acquisitions and modifications while managing teams of engineers, financial officers, subject matter experts, and other personnel tasked with planned changes and modifications. Coordinated the validation of a new parachute repacking process, which reduced the timeline for future parachute tests.

SQUADRON TRAINING OFFICER, VAW-117 Squadron, Jan. – Sept. 2007

Developed, executed, and managed training plans for over 180 aircrew and ground personnel for VAW-117 Squadron. Initiated a comprehensive Subject Matter Expert program and training syllabus, superbly preparing the squadron for workups and combat operations on deployment.

MAINTENANCE DIVISION OFFICER, VAW-117 Squadron, Jul. 2006 – Jan. 2007

Managed and Lead 15 personnel and two low level managers for the safe aircraft launch and recovery evolutions and routine servicing of four aircraft. Established new procedures to track and maintain currency of technicians as well as leading to a 25% increase in qualified personnel for the critical position. Also took two programs from Worst to First on biennial Commander Naval Air Forces Aviation Maintenance Inspection.

SCIENCE INTERNSHIP, GENENCOR International, Jun. – Aug. 2000

Developed and executed the formulation for the stabilization of enzyme in heavy-duty liquid detergents which allowed for the storing of the product in hot/humid worldwide locations.
