Representative Projects
• Kia Motors Manufacturing of Georgia, West Point, Georgia – This project included more than 2.6 million square feet of manufacturing, processing, assembly, and support facilities. As an on-site engineer, responsibilities included observation and Quality Control for auger-cast pile placement and more than 7,000 Geopier installations, shallow foundation and reinforcing steel evaluations, concrete slab and asphalt sub grade evaluations, also assisted in directing on-site construction material testing operations. (Revenues in excess of $1,800,000)
• Forensic Subsurface Evaluations, Florida – Retained as Geotechnical Engineering firm by various insurance companies to analyze subsurface conditions and assess property damage as related to subsurface deficiencies, possible sinkhole activity, or other factors contributing to physical damages. When applicable the development and management of remediation procedures were provided. Responsibilities as project manager included report development and oversight of subsurface evaluations in relation to the property damage, scheduling and procurement of field work between field staff and sub contractors while maintaining budget and time constraints. (Revenues in excess of $200,000)
