Drug Shortage Application

WakeMed is a 746-bed, private, not-for-profit health care system based in Raleigh, NC and serving eastern North Carolina. It has 15000 employees working in its various locations. Drug Shortage application was a requirement of pharmacy department as it wanted to have an application to keep track of a drug when on a shortage across various hospitals and had a desired process to be followed when a drug is declared as a shortage by pharmacist like taking clinical advice from clinical pharmacist, asking Buyers to Stock Up on a drug shortage, Nurses of all hospital able to view only inventory on hand on a shortage and Manager to be able to close a shortage and assign various task.

Responsibilities

• Gathered and analyzed business requirements to create a drug shortage application in SharePoint 2010 for pharmacy department.

• Created a Claim based web application for Drug Shortage Application in test and production servers.

• Configured LDAP authentication (Form based authentication) for Claim based Web application.

• Created five custom web parts to perform different roles (Buyers, Clinician, Manager, Business Manager, and Inventory On Hand) for drug shortage application.

Electronic Check In (ECI) is a application that falls under the Retailer Initiated Invoice (RII) project of Seven-Eleven Inc. The intent of the RII project is to get an accurate count of items delivered, get that information sent to Self Billing so that an accurate invoice can be created and a payment can be made to the vendor. ECI is the portion of the project that will help to automate the capture of the items delivered, capture the quantity of those items delivered, capture the number of items damaged, capture the number of items returned and the total number of containers received and returned.
