Bellaire, MI from May 15, 2012 – August 15,2012 I assisted in maintaining Group policy, HP network printers, Slates, Notebooks, Desktops, and Laptops, totaling approximately 100, and ensured antivirus software and operating systems were up to date and good working order, plus maintaining the network phone system, as well as associated servers. I have been introduced to the break-fix scenario of computer maintenance, a video surveillance system with the editing software to display at different speeds, Acronis imaging software, and maintenance of proprietary medical software, as well as the maintenance in Active Directory.

Computer Network Internship at North Central Michigan College,

Petoskey, MI from September, 2011 – December, 2011: During this time I Assisted IT lab students with computer issues using procedures learned in 4 IT related courses; Network Essentials, Windows Workstations, Windows Servers, and Network Security Fundamental courses. I suggested and promoted additional lab set up and server maintenance procedures. I added experience with server software installation and setup as required.

Barnes Precision Valve Central Lake, MI: 1993-2009 Worked in the finishing department removing burrs and strengthening flapper valves for air conditioners or air compressors, as well as disc and spacers. A majority of parts were supplied to the automotive industry. The factory was eliminated.

Jet Engine Mechanic, USAF K.I. Sawyer AFB, and Wurtsmith AFB Michigan: 1978-1992 Served honorably as a Jet Engine Mechanic performing periodic inspections and flight line maintenance to jet engines. In the course of my career, a force reduction allowed me to resume civilian status.
