Initial duties include startup and commissioning of tools and equipment used in the manufacture and quality control test of AC Delco automotive batteries. Post-commissioning duties include operator training; set-up preventative maintenance programs; process optimization; formulation of manufacturing standards and procedures as per Delphi Energy & Automotive Systems rule.

Manufacturing duties include scheduling of activities and planning of resources in order to meet deadlines and quotas.
