OBJECTIVE

Seeking a full time position in Wireless Communications field that will help me grow technically and professionally.

EDUCATION

Master of Science: Electrical engineering

Major: Communication Systems Graduation: Dec. 2011

University of Texas at Arlington, Texas, USA

Relevant course Work - Wireless Communication System, Data Communication, Digital Signal Processing, wireless networks, Digital communication, Electromagnetic theory, Principles of Communication Engineering, Mobile communication system, Probability and stochastic process, Microprocessor and Microcontroller.

EXPERIENCE

Associate RF Engineer Intern at T-Mobile, USA Jun.2010 –Jan.2011

• Performed RF Drive Testing for 3G sites, Repeaters. Signal verification, Repeaters and HSDPA/ HSUPA testing using TEMS Investigation 9.1.2.

• Monitoring and troubleshooting UMTS and GSM voice and data KPIs (such accessibility, retainability, throughput, voice quality, interference, capacity, utilization, etc) for T-mobile Wireless UMTS network.

• Performed Functionality Testing, IFHO and IRAT testing using Ericsson Tool- TEMS Investigation 9.1.2.

• Collected, post processed and analyzed drive test data. Worked with the operations team to troubleshoot site related hardware issues.

• Investigate customer complaints for coverage and site related issues.

• Performed Call through Testing and E 911 testing.

• Extensive use of TEMS Investigation and Actix Analyzer.

Research Assistant Dec.2009 – June 2010

Department of Electrical Engineering at University of Texas at Arlington, Texas

• Involved in Antenna design and measurement programs in which were used to Provide design and analysis assistance for antenna pattern measurements and scattering measurements.

• Worked with microstrip patch antennas and other printed circuit antennas to predict the performance of microstrip fed slot antennas. Function includes calibration techniques (TRL and full two port).

• Etched, tested and fabricated various strip patch antennas.

• Performing measurements using RF instruments such as Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers etc. in Anechoic chamber.

• Compiled results of hardware test then analyze and give feedback to professor.

PROJECTS

• MIMO (Multiple Inputs and Multiple Outputs) system simulation

Designed MIMO wireless systems and investigated the performance of spatial multiplexing with dual-polarized antennas and Rayleigh fading channel. Designed a 2X2 & 1X2 transmit diversity scheme using Alamouti Space time block code.

• Channel equalizer using MLSE and MDD

Generating pseudo-random Block code; encoding it using 8-PSK & QAM and decoding it using MLSE & MDD to measure and compare performance characteristics using the above methods.

• Rate versus Power Control in IS-95 and CDMA2000

Using Equal Power Allocation, Channel inversion & Water-Filling techniques on SIMO, MISO, MIMO schemes and finding out the bit rate for variation in power allocation in both IS-95 and CDMA2000.

• SDRAM controller design

The goal of this project is to design an SDRAM controller that allows SDRAM memory to be interfaced with a microprocessor having only asynchronous memory support.

• Green House Automation using Microcontroller AT 89C51

Designed and built the system for controlling four environmental parameters viz. Temperature, Humidity, light intensity and water supply in the Green House.
