I have been in the Machining field for 30 years and have been in all phases from the machining of components for die’s to building and assembling to repair and maintenance of tool’s. I have also worked with a variety of steels and plastics. I am a hands on type of supervisor who believes that quality and craftsmanship comes first for any company for which I’m employed. I am always looking to learn new things and better myself. I have worked in die cast, hot stamping, and plastic injection tooling. I have a Journeyman Card, also Machinist/Toolmaker Associates Degree and am always willing to further my education for the benefit of the company. I have had some experience with AutoCAD Lt and would like to have the ability to teach others the knowledge I have of being a Machinist for 30 years. I am a team player and a dedicated employee; I believe in working hard and never say something can’t be done. I am also a very detail orientated person with a passion for success. I believe that an organized company is a profitable company therefore I believe that Lean Manufacturing and 5S are important for any company that wants to succeed in this industry. I feel I would be a great asset to the right company with the amount of experience I have.

Igloo Corporation Katy, TX 12/08 – Present

Position: 2nd Shift Supervisor/Master Technician. Oversee the day to day operations on the afternoon shift. Prioritize issues as they develop on the floor and keep production up and running. Troubleshoot problems with tools and come up with an economical and fast solution to the problem in order to get it back in to production in a timely manner to meet production demands. Operate all basic tool room equipment on a day to day basis. Excellent troubleshooting skills in hot runner systems are a specialty that I have. Organizational skills with 5S and Lean manufacturing.

Concours Mold Cullman, AL 06/08 – 12/08

Position: Supervisor. Trained apprentice on afternoon shift. Set up and trained employees for the implementation of 5S and Lean manufacturing programs. Engineering changes from blueprints. Run all types of basic tool room equipment EDM, Lathes, Mills, Surface Grinders, and Spotting Presses. Proficient in Tig & Mig Welding all types of steel. Spot Molds for flash repair.

Position: Supervisor /Lead Toolmaker- Maintenance and repair of all plastic injection tools. Work with engineers to solve process problems and tooling related issues. Implement engineering changes. Experienced with two shot molds and hot runner systems. Train and oversee other toolmakers. Experienced in Mig & Tig welding all types of steel. Fabricated from blueprints. Overseen the day to day scheduling of employees work loads, die maintenance, and repair of all tooling.

Titan Plastics Charlotte, MI 05/06 – 05/07

Position: Supervisor/ Toolmaker - Overseen all phases of maintenance and repair of plastic injection tooling. Experience with hot runner & two shot molds. Mig & Tig welding of all different types of steel. Worked to close tolerances. Operated all basic tool room equipment. This was a 1 year contract job.

SSAB HardTech Inc Mason, MI 03/98 – 05/06

Position: Tool Maker / Tool room Supervisor. Operated all different types of tool room machinery including CNC bridge mill that utilized AutoCAD LT software and G code programming. Proficient in Mig & Tig Welding all types of steel. I have a lot of experience in trouble shooting problems, fabricating from blue prints. Worked with different types of plastics & metals in production setting. Also set up all the purchasing for the dept. Work closely with vendors to set up a system to supply us with components that met QS 9000 standards for our customers. Over seen everyday maintenance, repair and production of dies.
