Responsibilities: All functions of a Fleet/Driver Manager. Dispatch drivers on trips. Knowledge of DOT guidelines, and regulations. Quallcomm / Electronic Logs knowledge and experience. Give drivers needed information on the trips they are doing. Give money to driver through Comdata Network. Give fair and impartial treatment, work with the Contractor through the Planner to increase utilization. Monitor home time requests, Handle issues and problems fairly. Responsible for keeping up with drivers' Hours of Service. Make sure inspections, Drug and alcohol testing, license, and physicals are up to date with Safety regulations. Run configuration as needed for truck tracking. Make sure all data related to the system is updated timely(i.e. Check calls, billing calls, ETA, and home time requests). Communicate with Planners special needs or requests. Monitor available hours. Get accurate arrive and departure times for EDI and Service Reports. Resolve any Claims issues with the customer and driver. Provide disposition of product as advised by the customer.
