DESIGN PROJECTS
Final Year Engineering Project
• UAV platform: Assemble an RC aircraft and integration of the autopilot, ground station and a simulator.
• The ground station successfully communicates with both the simulator and UAV and is able to adjust the UAV’s bearing, speed, altitude, and even have the UAV enter a formation flight and flight modes.
• Primary objective was to develop a system that facilitates the development of an autonomous flight control system.
Relay (Power Protection and Relay)
• Design and implemented a relay using resistors, diodes, TL084 and other component with the microcontroller known as STM8S Discovery board
• Used ST visual develop to compile and run the power protection relay program
• Used Syscomp Circuit Gear Oscilloscope to analyze the output of the voltage and the phases changes
DC Chopper (Electrical Engineering System Design)
• Design and implementations of DC Chopper using AC transformers, converters, inverters, and rectifiers
• Used MATLAB for simulation using Simulink Libraries
Targeting System (Computer Graphics Design)
• Used Visual C++ and open GL to design and implement a targeting system game by using transformation
Amplitude Shift keying (ASK) Modulation (Digital Signal Processing)
• Designed an ASK modulation in MATLAB as well as in Simulink using built in and custom components to satisfy the requirements of the project
Thermostat (Microprocessor System Design)
• Built microcontroller based thermostat and climate control system using various electronic circuit components and programmed it using both C and HCS12 Assembly languages
Door Knob Touch Alarm (Electronic Circuit Design)
• Constructed an door knob touch Alarm using a LM566 timer chip and various other components
