Work Experience:

Having nearly 6 years of experience in Oil & Gas field facilities, flow line/Pipeline Construction in INDIA SAUDI ARABIA ,UAE and QATAR. Leaded the Construction and QC activities of Piping. The Roles and Responsibilities are detailed below as a generic representation of Implementing a QA/QC system in compliance with Project Specification & Project quality policy, Testing and packages commissioning activities, Supervision of Construction activities, preparation of testing, getting test packages approved from the client, testing of the required limits and getting it handed over for pre-commissioning activities. Experienced in welding Inspection of various piping materials like carbon steel, LTCS, Stainless steel, Alloys in petro chemicals industries.

Shutdown Inspection:

External & Internal inspection of static Equipment such as Columns, Vessels, Exchanger, reactors, fin-fan Cooler, Heaters / Furnace and Tanks as per API codes and company standards.

Preparation of repair procedure with recommendation.

Witness of NDT includes UT, RT, DPT, MPT etc.

Witness of hydro test and Pneumatic Test.

Daily Progress report, preparation of final report and final documentation.

Welding & Coating Inspection:

Review of contractors ITP (Inspection & Test plan) ,comment on Hold points, Witness point, review points, monitor points etc., and NDT Plan .

Review of contractors WPS’s for structural, Equipments’ & piping and also evaluation of relevant PQR’s as per ASME Sec-IX.

Perform Welder/welding operator performance Qualification testing (WPQT) and issuing of welder card as per ASME Sec-IX.

Witnessing destructive tests such as tension test, guide bend test, impact test and hardness test as per ASME sec-IX and construction code.

Verification of ITP, Verification of painting & coating system.

Inspection of surface preparation as per codes and company standards.

Monitoring of weather conditions, WBT, DBT, DEWPOINT .Relative Humidity (RH %)

& Metal temperature.

Measuring WFT, DFT of each coat. Final DFT , Visual inspection , Pinhole detection & Holiday detection

Preparation of daily painting inspection reports and Final inspection report.

Other Activities:

Review of projects WPS’s (Welding procedure specification) for structural, Equipments’ & piping and also evaluation of relevant PQR’s (procedure Qualification Records) as per ASME Sec-IX.

Visual inspection and Verification of materials in ware house/projects as per the specification, review mill certificates / purchase orders.

Responsible to receive the project incoming materials, equipment as per project specification, review mill certificates / purchase orders.

Review For plant expansion and upgrading modification projects P&ID’s, (piping and instrument diagrams) and comment & modify as required for final approval.

Review and modify of piping routing Drawings/pipe Lay-out drawings and pipe construction for final approval.

Review of project specifications (Mechanical/piping/painting etc. and project construction for approval.

Review of Equipments (Pressure vessels, Columns, Drums, Exchangers, Heaters / Furnace, Storage tanks, boilers and piping) construction drawings for final approval of Chief Eng. /Project manager.

Conduct welding audits, Quality control audits, welding consumable audits, material storage/handling audits, storage audit etc., on weekly basis.

Test and certifying the painting/Coating team leaders, abrasive blasters and painting/coating inspectors.

Attending daily Tool Box meeting with all QA/QC personals (project QC Engineers, QC Supervisors etc.,) including Contractors and sub contractors QC personals.

Attending (Chair the meeting) weekly Quality Control meeting with contractors, sub contractors QA/QC managers & Engineers. Participate in project construction meetings and other related technical meetings.

Issue non-conformity reports, Violation reports, and Deficiency reports and maintain related log entry record book.

Reviewing / witnessing of all Hydrostatic pressure/Leak test Diagrams/Packs and pneumatic test of pressure vessels, Columns, Heat Exchangers, reactors, Storage Tanks and piping, Line flushing systems Diagrams etc., for approval.

Review vender supplies, contractors workshop / factory inspection as per project requirements.

Perform other miscellaneous technical related duties as directed by Chief Engineer/project manager and solve/evaluate project technical problems with project consultants/managers.

Review final As-Build drawings, Equipment manuals and Data-books Etc., for handover to the client.
