Designed and assembled articulated, telescoping arms for accessing the interior of a radioactive storage tank. Designed and assembled the tool that went on the end of that arm. Computer modeled a glove box for the processing of radioactive material. Used the 3D capabilities of AutoCad.

Compared parts and assemblies with prints and adjusted SolidWorks 2005 files as necessary. Analyzed weak parts with Cosmos FEA and redesigned materials and geometry.

Designed remote controlled robots for handling terrorist bombs. Modified electronic housing and "gripper" arm using Inventor R7. Created prints to Northrup Grumman specifications (ANSI and mil specs.) Ordered unstocked parts using Northrup Grumman procedures. Helped in the testing of a "disruptor". Assisted other engineers in design and software problems.
