PROJECT ACTIVITY To reduce vacuum power for press felt suction tubes after proper sizing Modification to maintain proper press felts cleaning and conditioning design on web run. Continuous cleaning of suction pickup rolls holes. Uno-run in first dryer section to reduce fluttering and increase trim-width. Full cascade steam and condensate systems. Energy saving in vacuum pumps on avoiding interconnected low-vacuum and high-vacuum areas. Anti-Blow-Boxes to prevent blowing before 2nd press nip. Stuff-box flow circuit to minimize the effect of pulsation from upstream system. Modification to avoid couch pit jamming and to control thickening. Elimination of cooling drives motor for power savings. To avoid the risk of failure of required reel spool speed with tyre. No heat exchanger and condensate vacuum pump after installing PDP. Head Box liquid level control theory. Tri-Vacuum (hi-vac) Technology for power saving and dryness increase up to 18-20%. Location of air chute for paper tail feeding from calender to pope reel. Proper carrier rope circuits at the termination of dryer group. Broke reintroduction technique to get rid of unusual shade variations and m/c breaks. Zero effluent paper machine with DAF and PSF technology (Environmental control) ~ A challenge against “Silent War = Pollution War”. Some calculations and designs for paper machine #2, on-line twin-HSM roll coater, twin hybrid former, gloss-calender.
