Responsible for the Quality, Legality and Food Safety Systems Platform for La Brea Bakery in a 24/7 Operations environment and 340+ employees. Direct responsibility for a Team of 42+ Supervisors, Foremen, Leads and hourly employees within the Quality, Sanitation and Safety Department. HACCP Team Lead, Internal Lead Auditor and Recalls Coordinator.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

•Leadership: With a consistent leadership and coaching, maintained a low employee turnover within the QA Department.

•Complaints resolution: Decreased the level of complaints by 20% from 2010 to 2011

•Third party Audits: Managed third party audits from BRC, Costco, Target, Harris Teeter, AIB, QAI and FDA regulatory Audits, with exceptional corrective actions resolution and follow-up.

•Quality Systems implementation: First time implementation of BRC – GFSI quality management systems for La Brea Bakery, NJ.

Aunt Kitty’s is one of the biggest Private label canned soups facility in the South Jersey area, manufacturing 250 + soup formulations and utilizing 400 plus ingredients in order to produce a wide variety of canned soups that are FDA & USDA regulated and Organic and Kosher Certified. Direct responsibility for a Team of 18 + thermoprocessing operators, supervisors and QA technicians. Worked together with the TP Process Authority in order to effectively resolve any process deviation. Assured consistent QA results within the organization.
