NATURE OF WORK

• Currently Working in structure assembly of SARAS P.S.A (Production Standard Aircraft) light transport aircraft since (jan 09 –still continue) from National Aerospace Laboratories, (Bangalore).

• Familiarized with structural system of SARAS Production Standars Aircraft.

• Scope of work includes : -

Study of aircraft blue prints, shell assembly, material schedules and process card of saras aircraft to assemble the parts on sub assembly jigs and then to major assembly jigs.

Assemble the wing & stub wing attachment bracket, vertical fin attachment bracket , nose landing gear bracket on main assembly jig.

Assemble of stringers, Longerons and seat rail on main assembly jigs

Carry out repair and rectification of snags.

Layout, drilling,reaming and riveting of aircraft parts

Fabricate and install structural modifications on aircraft components.

Construction of frames by studying bulkhead assembly drawings

Installation of sub assembly parts using appropriate jigs and fixtures

Layout, drilling,countersinking and suiting of skins as per skin drawing.

Apply cleaning solvent and proper sealing compound on aircraft parts according to process cards.

Other Skills

Knowledge of Air Transport Aassociation of America 100 codes, ispec 2200, AMTOSS.

Knowledge of Aircraft manuals like AMM, CMM, SRM, IPC etc.
