Duties included document review, equipment checklist preparation, development of system functional tests, and directing field testing activities.

Commissioning Manager/Construction Management QA/QC
Glenwood Community Center, Glenwood, MD.
Acted as the Commissioning Authority and Program Management team member for a 50,000 square foot combination seniors/recreation facility. Provided LEED designated Fundamental and Additional Commissioning services for the project. The Glenwood Community Center design included closed-loop ground source geothermal heat pump HVAC technologies. Program management responsibilities included design concept development, preparation of the construction commissioning plan, and direct involvement in design document preparation to suit a multiple bid package contracting scenario.
West County Library, Anne Arundel County, MD. Acted as the Commissioning Authority for a new 40,000 SF library that was designed to achieve a LEED Silver rating. In accordance with LEED procedures, developed a Commissioning Plan that communicated to the construction contractors the roles and responsibilities of all parties. Observed the installation of equipment and provided guidance to the Construction Manager to resolve installation deficiencies.
District of Columbia Water and Sewerage Authority, Blue Plains WWTP, Washington DC.
Assigned as a member of a team providing construction management service for the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority’s $1 billion Capital Improvement Program. Provided shop drawing review, document clarification, field inspection, system commissioning and contract change negotiations.
