To Whom It May Concern:

It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for O'Cee-Barac Ofori.

As a full-time faculty member in the College of Business at Johnson & Wales University, I teach courses that combine a learner-centered pedagogy with a project-based learning environment. It is through the application of subject content to real world and workplace scenarios that students in these courses develop not only a knowledge of the subject material, but also develop the critical workplace competencies of critical thinking and problem solving along with effective time management skills. As a full-time senior faculty member in my 14th year of teaching at Johnson & Wales, who previously enjoyed a successful career in financial services at the Vice President level at a major financial institution, I evaluate student performance from both an academic perspective as well as an employer perspective.

It is within this context that I have had a chance to observe and evaluate O’Cee-Barac Ofori’s performance in class and I give her my highest recommendation.

In class, I have observed O’Cee-Barac Ofori manage difficult material, conduct independent research, and reach sound conclusions to complex problems. She is self-motivated to strive for excellence and deliver a professionally formatted presentation on time.

She consistently exhibits professional decorum and civility towards her classmates, while contributing to the group learning environment by asking thoughtful and relevant questions or providing new relevant material she has found outside the classroom. She is always punctual and always prepared.

She works well both individually and in a team environment. She will seek out clarification when needed, and I have consistently observed that O’Cee-Barac Ofori is motivated not just to do the work, but to do it right the first time.

I am confident that O’Cee-Barac Ofori will make a significant, positive contribution to any academic program that she is a part of in the future.

Sincerely;

Professor Jean A. Holt
