AVP of Distribution Operations – Luxury Products Division (2003 – 2009)

Directed and led production for 150+ FTE’s in a 635,000 sq. ft Distribution Center supervising transportation, warehousing, returns and distribution departments globally. Designed and implemented an automated system, reduced obsolete and non conforming inventory and established an Annual Rate Review program inside each operating cell resulting in a savings of over $7. 5 Million. Prepared and presented a $20 Million budget, a $1.8 capital expenditure plan to corporate finance, created an automated system for labor and a manpower plan saving over $625K annually. Negotiated rates and contracts with 3PL groups and Global carriers. Served in a key role on 3 corporate teams involving the creation of the distribution center, re-design for supplies and services and purchasing project which saved in excess of $6.5 Million. Maintained a 99.7% accuracy rate covering over 32,300 locations with a value of $140 Million, an accuracy order rate of 98.5% on over 2 Million orders annually, and managed the relocation of 7 distribution centers with 0 interruptions in service while reducing order cycle time by 25%. Drafted and integrated coaching and mentoring tools, staffing forecasts, and matrix designs. Received multiple awards including the #1 ranked facility in North America for housekeeping and safety, the only distribution center in the company to receive OSHA–VPP Facility Certification and Safety Honor for no lost time accidents for 7 straight years.

Managed the oversight of both the Lancôme and Fragrance divisions operations, including distribution, warehouse and returns with 135 FTE’s and 10 department managers and supervisors.
