• Coordinated with business users and the testing teams on various enhancement projects in SD,MM and FICO modules.

• Developed reports for pricing conditions of Invoice numbers using tables VBRK. KONH, KONP.

• Developed reports for a particular pricing procedure in sales orders.

• Worked with internal and external customers to arrive at innovative solutions for the business problems.

• Analyzed and developed Batch Data Communications, reports and field

exits to enhance the usability and functionality of the routing operation in the PP

module.

• Developed Batch Data Communications BDCs for uploading routing data .It

also involved extraction of data from legacy system in SAP format.

• Developed reports to display and print the various operations, sub-operations,

production resource tools involved during the routing of components

in the production shop. This was done using the logical database PNM. The printing programs were made suitable for dot matrix as well as laser printer using print control utility.

• Incorporated field exit on the status of the routing. This field exit would

validate and allow only the authorized users to view the routings released to the production shop

• Production Resource Tools: Designed and developed various Layout Sets for printing the Production Resource Tools PRT details for document PRT, Equipment PRT and Material PRT.

• Batch Data Communications (BDC) developed for Equipment PRT and Document PRT. This also involved extraction of data from legacy systems to SAP

• Developed reports developed for displaying equipment PRT Number and equipment PRT description as per the PRT status fed by the user i.e. PRTs under tool room trial, PRTs being repaired and PRTs under pre-production

• Scheduling: Developed Module Pool for display of Production Orders under a particular Material Resource Planning controller and Production Scheduler

• Developed report for comparison of Scheduled quantity with Actual produced quantity within a particular period for a plant. Developed MRP Controller-wise report for scheduled display within a particular period

Project: Invoice System Management for the Switchgear group of Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

• Guided the team on various aspects of the project, including design, development and testing.

• The system involved Contract note generation, modification, printing and verification.

• It also involved Delivery Note generation, modification, printing and verification with contract note Modules were developed in FoxPro 2.6.

• Excise Gate Pass Cum Commercial Invoice module was developed in Realia COBOL. It involved calculations regarding sales tax payment, freight charges, and excise duty payment calculation depending on standard and non-standard products. It consisted of gate pass creation, error correction, printing confirmation, month-end activities and data transfer to SAP Systems

Project: Spares Accounting and Inventory Control for the Petrol Pump division of Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

Duration: Sep 1995 to July 1996

• The multi-user system was meant for Spares Accounting and Inventory Control.

• Handled the system with both the DOS (client side) and UNIX (server) interface

• The programs were written in MS COBOL and MF COBOL respectively.

• Worked with the interface with the IBM mainframe ES/9000 for data transfer

• Printed Delivery Notes and Reports and supported online query

• Synched the data between office and factory

Project: Staff Time Booking tool for the Inspection team of Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

• The programs were written in Fox-Pro to capture data related to the hours worked by the workers on different jobs.

• Reports were generated accordingly in VB for production shop-wise hours worked, hours worked by a worker, overtime booked production shop-wise, overtime booked by any worker over a period etc.

Project: Non-Billable Delivery Note management System

Duration: Sept 1994 to Jan 1995

Activities:

• System involved Non- Billable Delivery Notes NBDN. Screens for raising and

closing of Delivery Notes were developed.

• Reports regarding Daily list of raised NBDNs, closed NBDNs and missing NBDNs were developed.

• Programs were written on LAN in FoxPro.
