Worked as a nursing officer in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit

Taken care of pre and post- operative patients with VSD,ASD, Fontan procedure, Norwood procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Coarctation of aorta repair, Aortic balloon angioplasty, L&D TGA repair, TAPVC repair, BDGS, AV canal repair, Post-operative sepsis.

Assisted doctor during Central venous line and Arterial line insertion, Intubation Nasal and tracheal, Chest tube insertion and removal, peritoneal dialysis line Insertion and removal, post-operative suture removal.

ICU based care given such as ventilatory care, Peritonial dialysis as per order, Pre and post-operative assessment, developed care, health education to family members with emphasis on follow-up. Handled situation in case of Cardiac Arrest, cyanotic episodes, confused and irritable patients, patients with arrhythmias

Also worked as an on call ambulance nurse in case of an emergency
