Washington State University Bachelor of Arts in Sociology Anticipated graduation: May 2012
Office Assistant Washington State University Foundation (June - August 2010) Provided general customer service to clients including setting up in-person appointments and general phone duties. Recorded important client information in computer database and generated reports for WSU foundation. Participated in general organizational tasks; faxing, copying and constructing formal letters.
Student Painter Washington State University (June - August 2009 and 2010) participated in painting and cleaning dormitory and apartment buildings.
Proficiency: Mac, Windows, Word, PowerPoint, IMovie, Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, Excel, Stata, Pro Tools, Virtual DJ, T-Racks Garageband, Reason, Logic Pro, and social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and Instagram.
Ability to use online sites such as Qualtrix to create, distribute, and analyze data from survey. I gained experience in interpreting survey data intended for research. Able to learn most computer software in a short time.
Able to perform intern duties; filing, organizing, taking and placing calls, setting up appointments, copying, faxing, mailing and writing letters, running errands, etc.
Worked with children ages 4 - 14 years old teaching basketball. Volunteered on multiple occasions to elementary schools to assist in teaching. Also experience in speaking in front of groups of children, adults, and the elderly.
Learned how to play piano by ear at a young age and also took formal classes. Able to read and write music. Has knowledge of basic musical theory. Genres Most Comfortable With: HipHop, R&b, Soul, Pop, Rap, Electro, Dubstep, Rock, Alternative, Indie
Has music producing and composing experience: scored internet webisodes for Dr. Dossman at gazettessports.com. Assisted in creativity direction for live music performances and has experience in playing keyboard in front of live audiences.
Pullman Lentil Festival (August 2009, 2010, and 2011) Duties: Served breakfast to festival attendees. Spokane Stars Basketball Clinic (October 2009 and 2011) Duties: Taught children basketball fundamentals. Habitat for Humanity (June 2008) Duties: Helped build a house for a homeless family
OTHER/ PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Has experienced being in professional, music recording studios (NRD Studios and Short Bus Studios in North Hollywood, CA, May - August 2011).
Was able to observe studio sessions, recording processes, musicians and the behavior acceptable in a creative/professional setting.
As a result of my surrounding environment, I was able to interact with people such as Ludacris, David Banner, 1500orNothin, Yung Joc, The Stereotypes, J Davey, and many other music and entertainment professionals.
