Advanced Individual Training (AIT) in Biomedical Equipment Maintenance Technology APR 2011 – FEB 2012
While in the 48-week program, took over 200 written and practical tests with zero failures achieving an over-all GPA of 93%. Received over 10 months of hands-on experience with multiple and varied pieces of equipment including: Diagnostic Imaging, Surgical, Sterilization, Dental, Medical/Life Support, Lab, and Monitoring equipment. Received a strong understanding of theory and mechanical principles while learning effective and efficient analytical and critical thinking skills. Was able to sharpen team-building skills while being in a tri-service environment, working alongside Air Force and Navy students.
