PROJECTS:

• OpenGL project: Computer Graphics project in Visual Studio. It incorporated the shading, lighting, textural mapping, visual effects etc.

• Document Management System for the National Informatics Centre (NIC) using Java. The front end was created using Swings and the database connections using JDBC. The application provided two levels of security; edit, for the person who is typing and another level for the judge to authenticate the Judgments. This was provided by using the Smart card and the smart card reader. Conversion to pdf and watermarking are provided only for the judge.

• Project in C on Linux platform: Worked on the Large Graph Sampling under the Internet Topology Mapper (IToM) project maintained at UT-Dallas, Department of Computer Science under the direction of Dr. Kamil Sarac. This project includes understanding the nature of complex networks by sampling large graphs using random sampling approaches and estimators for their properties.

• Online Reservation System for a Travel agency: Created a website using HTML. It included Flight, Hotel and Car reservation. The front end was designed using HTML and Dreamweaver. The Design included Use case diagram, Use case descriptions, Communication diagram, Activity, State, Component, Deployment diagrams. The patterns like Creator, Controller, and Expert etc were considered during designing of the Travel agency.

CURRENT PROJECTS:

• Campus Room and Equipment Requirement System: The project consists of conceptual design and the requirements analysis, database design requirements, and application design and development.

• Assistive technology for elderly people: Develop an Android handheld application for Smartphone that would assist people with communication disability to perform day-to-day activities.
