R&M/MWD/ LWD Technician II Nov. 04’-June 09’

Perform measurements, operations, process controls, tests, trouble shoot diagnose problems, products and repair of tools using Schlumberger’s Assembly and Dissassembly T&A. Maintain, track, and review performance of tools in RMS system. Responsible for equipment purchasing, repair, maintenance, and inventory control of MWD/LWD tools. Disassemble and assemble tools according to the procedures outlined in the T&A manuals. Ability to read schematics, blue prints and identify components using GEMS. Reports and log in repair and assemblies completed information into QUEST. Ability to complete wire preparation, striping, crimping, harness repair and termination, basic manual high and low temperature soldering, and rework techniques according to the IPC-A-610 manual. Categorize, test, and set up tools/parts on Item Master list. Mentor and assist lower level technicians on tool maintenance, performance, and procedures. Worked with senior level technicians on building, rating performance, testing, and collecting data on new tool configurations. Build and arrange MWD/ LWD tools for testing and shipping. Accountable for tool shipments and deliveries to the correct work sites. Remarkable ability to communicate effectively. Booking staff processes new intakes, court remands, and inmate releases from custody. Housing staff conducts inmate counts, safety inspections, assist court security deputies to prepare inmates for transport, supervise inmate feeding, and assist civilian staff with daily duties.
