Objective

Seeking challenging position in Manufacturing/Process Engineering or New Product Introduction Engineering qualification

Professional Achievements

Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing

§ Improved Steering Reel Cables (SRC) assembly line to re-layout to combine riveter machine and grease apply machine into one operation to reduce operator to one instead of two. Also, optimized to change grease apply timing to associated with increase rotating speed of rotator due to reduced takt time. Save one operator that still meet quantities and qualities goals.

§ Improved SMT backend assembly line to re-layout to change process of put 8EA screw into cover screw eye from Fixup 8EA and power assembly process to move to connect cover and chassis process. By doing this that Improved ESMA daily output from 340pcs to 400pcs which improved labor hour from 1.1601H to 0.9902H, Reduce labor 0.1699 H / EA

Kaizen and Organization

§ Tooling Project (reduce waste & increase Productivity) to Improving and organizing the daily used tools in each Cell to increase productivity. Improve Quality level and preventing damaging tools. This project has been save company more than 50% tooling cost.

Assembly, NPI, DFM and Operation

§ Completed more than 120 OMS (Operation Method Sheet) and procedures for assembly operators and trained technicians

§ Worked with customer designer to completed built entire prototype Mattson Cooling Service Module assembly, Applied Materials Wet Clean assembly and Applied Materials CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polisher) Sycamore assembly with out formal documentation and created those documents then implemented (BOM, Assembly drawing, components spec etc.)

§ Analysis then implemented DFM (Design for Manufacturing) for Rudolph Metrology Transparent S3000 (Simultaneous measurement with multi-wavelength) and Metrology MetaPULSE®-G (Thin film measurement tool) equipments to combine some of machining components as part of frame weldment instead of separate items, combine several sheet metal items in to one and standardize most of fasteners/ terminals/ferules due eliminate items on BOM to reduces number of none value reasons as reduce labor hours of assembling, risk of damage while installation/ materials transfer/ handling. Also, minimize materials procurement process due to LT and cost. Further more convert wiring point to point into harnessing for cost reduction due to labors and risk of crimping damages. This DFM has been save approximately 15% of cost reduction.

Skills

§ AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, Solid works, Inventor, Unigraph, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project Management ect.), Oracle, Agile, Qgo, Corel, Photo Shop and familiar with most of all label maker software’s.

§ Experienced with Six Sigma green belt and Lean Manufacturing

§ Instron Machines (Materials Testing), CNC, Lathe, Grinde

§ Tooling and Fixturing

§ Extensive experiences in Contract Manufacturing process and Automation OEM
