Responsible to ensure smooth progress during fabrication of fabricated beams and platform for Gorgon Australia LNG Marine Terminal, in sub contractor yard, PT Hanjung in Bandar Lampung, Indonesia.

Supporting Project Planning Dept,in monitoring fabrication work progress, tonnage of the fabricated beams and other platform components, such as piping and mechanical, etc, including completion target of fabrication and assembly of the platform and piping and tubular works. Mechanical / Piping/ Construction Engineer – Seconded to Bechtel International to provided supervision during completion stage of the PTT PRP Platform, including supervision during gas receiving duration unto the system up to 1100 psi. Primary duties are to supervise and co ordinate completion activities and commissioning of mechanical equipments and piping system, as to received 1st gas transmission. Playing active role with CSR to ensure gas receiving and mechanical commissioning works were done with highest safety standard and ensure contractors followed safety procedure .Documents review and certification for commissioning, testing and preparation of gas receiving system of the platform. Vessels closure audit and re verified internal components to ensure intact and as per specification prior to commissioning and start up, coordinating deck crane testing with classification authority.

Construction Supt/ Site Representative - Seconded to Technip France, and stationed in Mokpo, S Korea, to fully supervise fabrication/erection & transportation of HP/LP & KO Drums and Pumps Skid modules at sub contractor site, including its facilities, piping, mechanical, pumps, installation, E&I, painting, testing and HSE, to provide support to engineering group and to ensure skid and facilities were fabricated as per company specification and requirements, tasks were to deliver modules in time, with quality and works done safely. Primary duties are to carry surveillance and inspection during demolition and renewal of marine piping system including all the components, and also new process piping with modular system, system testing, line inspection, materials verification, review and approval of hydratest dossier, and compilation of report and certification, checking dossier prior to final documentation,for commissioning. Primary responsibilities to ensure works done by the contractors were as per project specification and requirement. Monitor and carry out quality surveillance during fabrication of the platform structural and all the facilities including the LQ, monitor piping fabrication works and erection, equipments receiving inspection and installation, checking on supports and service platform, to ensure they were fabricated and erected as per drawing requirement. Responsible in piping system line inspection and Testing,dossier review and approval, hydro testing,flushing, chemical cleaning and pre commissioning activities function to completion, final documentation and certification.

June 2004 – March 2005 Brunel SEA – BP Exploration – Shah Deniz TG 500 Gas Export Project

Piping/Mechanical Inspector – Seconded to BP Exploration Shah Deniz Ltd, to monitor and witness all aspect of piping/structural works including testing, flushing hydro jetting, tank survey, during construction of Shah Deniz Gas Export Platform for BP Exploration. Primary responsibility is to supervise, surveillance and inspection during fabrication of heavy wall Duplex/Super Duplex, stainless and CuNi piping to ensure works carry out as per specification and requirements. Carry out line inspection and witness testing, mechanical testing on maintenance lifting gears and accessories, keep track on Site Instruction to ensure works completed as required, check/liaise with engineers and contractor and to ensure no SI outstanding for system commissioning, including preparing/reviewing technical documents for project certification and final acceptance.

Piping Engineer / Hydro Test Pack Coordinator – Was seconded to Pt McDermott Indonesia. Primary responsibility is to supervise a team of line checkers including managing of hydro test pack dossier. Review all punch list issued by line checkers, determine and conformed A/B items, cross check test limits and test loop from P&ID and ISO, ensure updated document/drawing and preparing for release notes and NDE clearance prior to testing the pipe line/system, and to ensure Flange Management System were follows and documented in details in terms of flange sizes and ratings, bolts sizes and bolts class, flange/mating flange surface were checked andgasket install as per pipe class and bolts were torque and recorded., Follow up reinstatement works after testing, coordinating with all parties in preparing for final documents prior to final/total Mechanical completion dossier to be submitted to client fore approval. Keep track on all test pack movement and ensures timely tested and completed as planned. Assigned to Task Force team in supporting project management team for timely system hand over to client.

Mechanical/Piping Inspector - Primary responsibilities is to ensure piping fabrication/erection on marine and process-piping system is conformed as per design & specification. Carry out line inspection, and witness hydrostatic testing, site inspection and verify &ID, pipe support, and review Hydro test pack and related document prior to final acceptance, during conversion works on the FPSO P43, Barracuda at Jurong Shipyard, Singapore. It is including of coordination works and supervision of a group of line checker/inspector prior to system testing and commissioning and to ensure timely system handover.

Mechanical Piping Inspection Engineer – Primary responsibilities is to ensure piping fabrication/erection on marine and process piping system is conformed as per design. General Inspector/Supervisor – Primary responsibilities is to oversee/supervise fabrication of piping for the N1 2nd phase expansion during onshore/offshore piping/structural fabrication and offshore installation, it does include all the piping facilities, flow lines, gas lift lines, raiser and installation of new separator on the platform, including to supervise fabrication of the E1 Well Head Platform in Vung Tau PTSC yard, and it does include of piping/steel fabrication, blasting/painting, NDE coordination including offshore installation of the N1 deck expansion and upgrading of piping system on the platform

Feb 2001 - March 2001 – Singapore Chemical Complex/ExxonMobil – Poly Olefin Plant

Contract Inspector- Boiler

Seconded to SCC, to carry out joint inspection with Ministry of Manpower – Industrial Division inspector in carrying out physical survey on the boiler B, external and internal condition. Monitor NDE on all the welded components to ensure no indication of visual defect on all welded seams.

May 2000 – November 2000 – JVPC – Japan Vietnam Petroleum Company

Installation Engineer – Primary responsibility is to overseer and supervise sub-assembly/fabrication, welding, NDE, of offshore steel structure and process piping/flow line during fabrication and erection, material verification, line inspection as per P&ID, cross check ISO/P&ID, and installation of the Rang Dong N1 4 Slot Expansion in Vietnam, including of reviewing of the hydro test pack and line inspection of flow line tie-in points, witness hydro testing of the piping line/system, blasting/painting of splash zone and insulation of piping system, material take off, reviewing MDR and to overseer day to day installation activities during offshore installation.

Construction Engineer/ Mechanical – Be responsible on all aspect of piping and welding works during construction of Exxon’s Singapore Chemical Complex in Singapore. Duties including of piping fabrication and erection, welding inspection and NDE review, welder qualification, fabrication of stainless steel silos, reviewing of ISO and P&ID, mechanical installation, underground piping including all aspects of project quality function including overseer construction of 2 unit of spherical tank and 1 unit of cylindrical tank as per ASME DIV 1 & 2 requirement. Seconded to MOE as site QA and responsible for auditing QA/ QC function for Mitsubishi Corporation during vendor procurement and site construction at Senoko Refusal Incinerator Plant, Singapore. Multi discipline responsibilities including reviewing of NDE result, welding inspection on boiler tubes, fabrication and repair procedure, vendor surveillance, product audit and inspection during erection of 6 units of Water Wall Boiler, including mechanical equipment installation and inspection on various system to ensure compliance to fabrication specification. Witness functioning test of major equipment and record data review before submission/approval.

Offshore Pipeline/OPI – Singapore

General Inspector – Seconded to OPI to conduct WQT and PQT for Sarawak Shell BHD, MLNG II pipeline installation project. Utilizing the SMAW and CRC automatic welding technique. Piping and welding inspection and NDE review including fabrication of riser pipe and clamps during fabrication of the expansion of the loop lines.

Du Pont Adi Pure Project

Lead Mechanical QA/QC – Representing the end user during construction and installation of mechanical equipment and pressure vessels associate with construction of this 500 millionth dollars plus project. Responsibilities including but no t limited to receiving inspection on equipment, check/review heavy equipment rigging plan and procedures, monitor equipment storage and organize Preventive Maintenance Team, check equipment location, foundation, establish orientation and elevation, monitor equipment installation works, check equipment levelness, plumpness, orientation and elevation after installation, check grouting preparation of equipment base, check equipment internal components and monitor installation of trays, demister, packing etc insulation and painting works organize vessel closure audit for equipment acceptance and pre commissioning, compilation/review of all installation/equipment records for submission and dimensionally check, torque and bolts inspection on structural steel.
