Xerox Color Printers, (Via ADECCO Corp.) Wilsonville, OR Feb 09 – July 2011 Print Technician. Responsible for fullfilling Xerox internal and external print orders. The jobs were done on Xerox’s latest released printers (and prototypes). Checked color balances on prints; troubleshooting new printers. Printed most jobs as PDF files from computers; inspected for quality, rejecting flawed prints; prepared all jobs for shipment.

Hewlett-Packard Printer Division, (Via CDI Corp.) Vancouver, WA Dec 07 - Oct 08 Assembly/Test Technician. Responsible for building Data Test Units (DTUs) of a new prototype liquid-ink Printer (Bears). These DTUs (100+) are for firmware and hardware research engineers to improve the product. Wrote WSH (Windows Script Host) test scripts and VBA macros to speed up the prepping, testing and delivery during the build.

Columbia Sportswear Corp. , (Via VOLT Corp.) Portland, OR Jul 07 - Oct 07 Warehouse Worker. Learned Stocking techniques: Replenishment, Picking and Purging. Kept track of inventory using a ‘Gladiator’ device (worn on the arm and connected to the central tracking computer). Also worked on automatic sorters, conveyors and other machinery as necessary.

Intel Corp. , MPG Lab, (Via H.L. YOH) Beaverton, OR Jan 07 - Apr 07 Test/Validation Technician. Tested thermal sensors on the latest Intel Mainboards for

use in Laptop computers: Dual core CPUs, Graphics Chips, Memory and various air or casing temperature sensors. Set-ups and testing procedures are long and detailed. Sped things up by using the Windows Script Host (WSH).This resulted in a 20-25% reduction in total test times (which could take up to 2 weeks); used VBScript.

Wrote Python scripts to test print engine hardware. Weekly Firmware qualifications. Assembly of units and complex wiring of Test Boxes. Developed a Cable Interconnect viewer (DHTML-Javascript) to speed up building print engine Test Boxes.

Williams Controls, (Via STAFFMARK) Tigard, OR Oct 05 - Mar 06 Assembly/Test Technician. Assembled various models of heavy-duty brake systems for trucks, automobiles etc. Tested the finished products using different wire harnesses connected to a PC. Initiated VB test programs to monitor all aspects of assembly behavior including graphical output from sensors.
