Project manager on several large projects including Chevron Conserves (a recycling campaign for Houston and California that will be adopted in the future for all of Chevron), and Hazid (safety deliverables that is distributed globally throughout Chevron). Draft the design and layout for Chevron deliverables, while adhering to strict branding standard guidelines. Deliverables include brochures, presentations, signage, handouts, and tabletop panels for tradeshows and etc.
Actively participated in Chevron’s OE HES behavior-based safety-program and training, intellectual property training, diversity training, and team-building opportunities within the Information Design and Communications (IDC) Design Team.

Senior member of the design staff for a NASA contractor. Helped generate workflow and performed as liaison to the client. Designed brochures, fliers, advertisements, business cards, logos, promotional materials, and signage. Created and implemented graphics for the ARES company website. Responsible for design, production, and procurement of all ARES corporate promotional items including display boards for corporate identity exhibits. Helped organize many company functions, such as the ARES entry for the JSC Chili Cook Off and company Christmas parties.

SENIOR LEAD DESIGNER, American Color Graphics, Houston, TX 2/04 – 8/04
Trained and motivated ad builders, promoted creative thought processes and implementation. Helped generate workflow and performed as liaison to the client. Responsible for quality control and a professional looking deliverable, consistent with client requirements. Co-lead of morning and weekly staff meetings to motivate the staff and encourage a unified team.

SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER, American Color Graphics, (Houston Chronicle) Houston, TX 1/02 - 2/04
Member of an elite design team in a newly formed in-house ad agency that provided graphic design solutions for commercial clients. Worked with sales representatives and clients to create campaigns that would give the client a fresh new look and promote sales growth.
Deliverables included direct mailers, fliers, brochures, advertising, NSD wraps, corporate logos, tabloids, business cards, menus, place cards, and certificates. Wrote the headlines and/or slogans for at least 85% of what I designed. In a little over a year of working in this capacity, I generated over $1 million in revenue for the Houston Chronicle.

As a contractor for the Houston Chronicle, I worked with special projects for the graphics supervisor. Deliverables included designing brochures, direct mail pieces, advertising fliers, pullouts for the newspaper and magazines.

Designed brochures, direct mail pieces, and restaurant menus for a startup marketing company. I was chosen to do this work because I successfully completed projects in an expedient manner.

Designed brochures, pamphlets, fliers, billboards, direct mail pieces, advertisements, postcards, booklets, and posters using various design tools. I conceptualized, produced mock-ups and revisions and followed through to production.
