Project: ASL STREAMLINING Jan 2009 – Feb 2009

Programmer Analyst/Team Leader, Pfizer Inc, India

ASL Streamlining – One of the current applications in Pfizer (Pegasus) had an Interface with an application called ASOL system. We pulled the information related to approval levels of Pegasus users from a flat file feed posted by ASOL on ftp location. The ASOL system was being replaced by a new system which exposed PeopleSoft views instead of flat file feed. We had to integrate our existing system (Pegasus) with this new system for pulling the required information.

This change had an impact on 4 reports that initially pulled the information from flat file generated by ASOL system and sent these reports through e-mail to certain set of users on a weekly basis.
