I am currently working as a Software Engineer on AS400 System in Hexaware Technologies Ltd. (CMMI level 5 Company). I also worked at the clients end in for 3 months and holding a B1 visa for the same.

Clients System:

 Our client runs its Insurance business on AS400 system. Its one of the top five TPA’s (Third Party Administrator) for various insurance companies in US.

 It basically involves settlement and adjudication of health insurance claims.

 The AS400 system is categorized into Development, Testing, Model Office and finally the Production environment.

 The UAT (User Acceptance Test) is performed on the Model office environment before shipping changes into production.

 “TurnOver” change management tool is used to promote the required changes at every level.

Previous Work Experience:

1. Jan. 2007 to May 2007

 Worked for Patni Computer Systems Ltd. (CMMI level 5 company), Mumbai on AS400 technology on a contractual basis. During this period, I have undergone explicit training on Insurance Domain.

1. M.Sc. (Information Technology) Project:

Physical Port Configurator

The Physical Port Configurator is software developed to centrally control the switching (ON-OFF) mechanism of electrical devices in a local area via the Physical Parallel Port. It also records the duration for which the devices were ON or OFF.

2. B.Sc. (Software Systems) Project:

Bio-informatics – DNA Sequencing

This project uses Needle Wunch Algorithm to compare the extent of similarities between DNA strings, which finally results into a match percentage. DNA Sequencing helps in cloning, verification of criminal records, finding relation between new organic cells, etc...

Languages used: VB 6.0, Java, MS Access and Windows Xp.

3. Diploma (Industrial Electronics) Project:

Solid State Relay with Under/Over Voltage Protection

This project stabilizes the output voltage given to electronic devices. It maintains voltage between the upper and lower cut-off limits.
