There was an immediate need for BAB to implement EDI for automating the Purchasing process therefore they needed someone to help them in setting up their EDI environment. So that they could start placing their orders using the EDI 850 transaction set and receives the PO Acknowledgment back EDI 855 transaction set. All the BAB stores used to send their weekly supply orders using the Excel sheet to the Purchasing department, where one of the associate used to run a batch process to populate the orders table with the new orders data. Than a BizTalk SQL receive location used to pick the new orders data and used to send that data to the different vendors using the EDI send ports by using the parties and the agreements.

Neste Oil Migration- for Neste Oil, Finland 01/06 – 01/07

Neste Oil is one of the biggest Oil Distribution Companies in Finland. Neste Oil had 11 integrated interfaces on BizTalk 2002 and this solution had to be updated to BizTalk 2004 for extending the functionality to the maximum. This required integrating a total of 11 different systems. The data was coming from different sources like www.neste.fi , private queues and the FTP locations and in the different file formats like XML and flat files. This data had to be correlated, transformed and refined and sent to the different Systems like the Oracle databases by the use of either Third Party components or the Call to the web services. This required the use of FTP Adapters and calling web services through SOAP adapters.
