I successfully completed an array of training programs offered by various banking/financial institutions. These programs provided the training I needed to handle the responsibilities required in the operations of the following areas: Wire Transfers, New Accounts/Teller, Return Items, Investor Reporting, Accounting/Quality Control, Loan Servicing and Credit Department. During this time as a Senior Credit Clerk I supervised the clerical staff and approved various documents. I also have working experience in the insurance industry, handling responsibilities in data processing, accounts receivable, billing, collections, and marketing. During this time I obtained a Health Insurance License with the State of Florida in order to meet job requirements in marketing.

EXPERIENCE

Wire Transfers/Return Items: Data-processing to various banks and as well, verified data for accuracy; balancing and posting of daily entries; researched and analyzed transactions in preparation for further processing.

New Accounts/Teller: Opened new accounts for bank customers, providing assistance in English and in Spanish; promoted financial products and services.

Provided support to the Teller Dept. by handling duties as a cashier.

Investor Reporting: Balanced bank reconciliations; researched entries and audited reports for accuracy; provided assistance to management.

Accounting/Quality Control: Reviewed and verified compliance with government’s rules and regulations and as well, the firm’s policies; examined closed mortgage files to ensure the usage of proper documentation also, evaluated the calculations used for accuracy; prepared reports measuring the overall efficiency of these findings, giving this presentation to management.

Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Payroll: In payables, processed invoices and prepared batches in order to print checks and mail payments. As well, contacted vendors to solve payment issues. Also, reviewed accounts payable reports and verified entries. In receivables, collected payments and balanced entries; analyzed Aged Receivable Report for further processing of transactions including Collections. Payroll duties included data processing and research.

Cashier: Prepared entries and balanced daily cash transactions; verified and prepared bank deposits. Also, processed cash data to generate the daily Cash Journal; analyzed the journal for accuracy; provided assistance to the auditing staff by performing various duties including collections and general office duties.

Credit Dept.: Completed, confirmed and approved credit verification documentation for the bank’s customers; supervised and trained credit clerks; provided assistance to external auditors by preparing Bank Confirmation forms and by performing other administrative duties as needed.
