Achievements

Worked as Citrix Tech Lead role and got appreciated for my work, from the top management of my current company and the customer. My role in this project was included analysis of work load; analyze scope of work, staffing plan, identifying knowledge areas & objects and knowledge acquisition planning.

As a team we have done a Citrix migration from Metaframe XPe 1.0 to XenApp 4.5. There were approx more than 120 applications we migrated from old farm to new Citrix farm. I utilized a newly introduced “Application profiling and streaming” and Citrix EdgeSight features in the new Citrix farm.

I was designated as Senior Technical Specialist, working with Technology Infrastructure Support Team, responsible to test Citigroup’s standard automated builds on a Test Citrix farm of approx 40+ Presentation Severs (MPS 4.0/4.5) hosted on VMWare ESX Servers.

Role & Responsibilities:

Installation of Citrix Servers through Citi’s Standard automated builds and images.

Publishing of different standard applications for Integration Testing.

Installation of new tested and certified OS & Citrix hotfixes on the servers.

Testing of CITI’s standard packages on Citrix Farms built under Citi’s SOE.

Almost all the installation we have done with standard automated builds which prepare a server with OS, applications, antivirus, hotfixes, monitoring agents and pre hardened OS & Application settings.
