Emergency Medical Technician

• Duties included, providing expert care and medical treatment in emergent and non-emergent situations, relaying vital information regarding my patients current condition, past medical history, and medication history, quickly and efficiently to emergency-room doctors and nurses.

• Responsible for initiating and supervising Lowell’s first Medical Bike Unit. The unit consists of EMT’s who would provide emergency medical care to sick and injured people during high attendance events in the city, such as the annual Lowell Folk Festival, which draws crowds in excess of 250,000 people. The unit is still in operation today, almost 20 years after its inception.
