Philip Morris Account (1989 – 1998)
Managed all aspects of Philip Morris POP, print and direct mail projects from initial development through lettershop in-home drop dates. Included pre-production, film separations, press approvals and lettershop sign-offs. Performed press checks for color approval. Estimated and maintained project budgets and billings.
• Produced the Merit Lighter Side Guide, a quarterly consumer magazine for Philip Morris. Coordinated with the printer and lettershop for packaging, labeling and distribution.
• Identified/assigned vendors for $20M annual print budgets quantities 50MM pieces.
• Collaborated with art directors, traffic managers, Client Service and Database to ensure that projects were correctly prepared for production and fulfillment.
• Executed all creative aspects of print, outdoor, point-of-sale and direct mail for various special projects including the Marlboro Horseshoe Birthday direct mail program and the Marlboro Racing direct mail contests/sweepstakes.
