BAC/ML Brokerage Integration

Description:

Bank of America used 3rd party (NFS-National Finance Services) to maintain their brokerage accounts. After BAC-ML merger, BAC Integration initiative is to leverage the Merrill Lynch database and to reduce 3rd party coasts. The process of conversion of accounts from BAC to ML has two main streams Client Conversion & Account conversion.

Client Conversion

Apart from the data Conversion and emphasis here was to determine the overlapping clients and make sure that the Client has single profile and all the accounts associated to the client are synced together.

Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

• Gathered requirements and prepared business requirement documents (BRD) from BAC Transitioning Team.
