Packaging Engineer

• Responsible for coordinating packaging projects related to structural design, product quality, and process efficiency while communicating effectively with overseas manufacturing facilities.

• Collaborate with Labeling Specialists and Graphic Artists to develop and edit components drawings, specifications, and bill of materials.

• Utilize programs such as TOPS, CAD, and SCORE for creating pallet patterns and developing component drawings.

• Lead Packaging Engineer in assisting with the start-up of the new production facility in Suzhou China. Process included supplier qualifications, line trials, and specification/bill of materials creation.

• Improved cost saving measures by assisting in the implementation and development of reducing the height of two different can sizes across two Pfizer manufacturing facilities.
