Philosophy

Learning is an essential part of a child’s life. Therefore, each child has a right to obtain an outstanding education in a pleasant and secure environment. I believe in educating the whole child. It is my responsibility to provide a positive learning environment in which each child is nurtured and is given the opportunity to learn to his/her greatest potential. I believe that all children can learn and I am committed to educating all children academically, emotionally, and socially.

• Organized and conducted team meetings each month to develop treatment plans.

• Integrated technology through development units that included computer literacy skills

• Actively engaged students by using literature, guest speakers, fine arts, field trips, etc, which allowed students to take ownership of their learning abilities.

• Conducted “Powerful Learning” and “Every Day Math” workshops for teacher.
