Some of my responsibilities involved the preparation of reports, land title research from record maps and deeds for boundary computation, topographic, stakeout and ALTA/ACSM surveys, complex survey calculations and preparation of survey plat including property line and right of way computations.
Also in addition to my duties were earth volume computations, grade determination, ability to read and interpret maps, surveys and legal descriptions. Use of Autocad drafting system to prepare maps for engineering projects. I have also worked on projects to establish vertical and horizontal control networks for the field surveys using the principles and practices of GPS and also in the reduction of field observations from field notes and review of electronic survey data for accuracy and completeness.
I also operated the HDS Laser Scanner (SS2) for numerous projects from field to finish into a deliverable Cadd format. Route and Highway or Transportation Surveys, Architecture(2D as-built elevation surface drawings), Structure Monitoring Survey, Rail and Road Tunnel Survey are a few areas I have worked utilizing the scanner.
Responsible for reading and understanding construction plans, right of way documents, project report specifications and cost estimate, utility designation coordination and location. Prepare project schedule and provide weekly status report to the Clients. Clients included VDOT, Virginia Cities and Counties and various private entities.
Airport obstruction surveys for Hampton Roads Executive Airport.
Storm/Sewer study analysis for City of Virginia Beach. Collected and catalogued survey and GIS data using MS Access.
Converted/Imported CAD Drawings into GIS and Microstation format to meet VDOT and the City of Virginia Beach standards.
Assisted in the computation and construction stake-out for the Pinners Point project in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Edited/cleaned-up Microstation and Autocad drawing files to meet GIS standards for numerous projects.
Migrated CAD drawing files and shapefiles into geodatabase feature class using modeled empty geodatabase for the Yorktown Beach Survey.
Aligned basemap and survey data with digital orthophotography utilizing ArcGIS for the Oceana Base Runway Rehabilitation project.
Topographical survey of the Montegomery Executive Airport, Blacksburg, Virginia to conform with FAA Cadd standards to be delivered in Autocad Civil 3D platform.

Established first order control and spot elevations information data around the base foundations for an array of antennas in Puerto Rico for (ROTHR)Raytheon.
Assisted in digitizing aerial photographs of the Chesapeake Jail facility into Microstation deliverable format.
C-2 letters were generated from topographical survey of various cell tower sites and provided to the Federal Aviation Authority.
Augmentation of survey data for the I-64/264 interchange project delivered in Microstation format in compliance with VDOT standards.
Converted coordinate systems/projection from Airport coordinate systems to Virginia State Plane(South) using NAD’83 US Survey Feet.
Wrote proposals for numerous projects.
