EXPERIENCE

Research Assistant at University of Central Oklahoma

I work with different data variables throughout the semester, which vary with the research topics. My main responsibilities include retrieving data from a database or search engine; compiling it into Excel spreadsheet and Word documents, and creating tables for data analysis purposes. Standards for tables and charts format have been set to ensure data quality. Towards the end of each semester, a detail report on the progress of the research is due to be submitted to the Office of Research and Grants.

Administrative Staff at Lee Medical Clinic

My job scope encompasses verifying patients’ medical eligibility and benefits before their scheduled appointments, record -keeping on patients’ information, filing insurance claims and other administrative tasks. Patients’ personal information, payments, and medical records are managed by an integrated software system, which serve as the most essential platform for data storage. Utilizing this software and several other websites, I track and manage claim status of every patient and sending billing statement to patients with outstanding balance on their account.
