Client description:

Nissan Motor gets where it is going in North America through Nissan North America. With plants in the US and Mexico, Nissan North America designs, engineers, and produces such vehicles as the Xterra SUV, the Altima sedan, and the Frontier pickup. It also provides marketing, financing, distribution, and services in Canada, Guam, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the US. It oversees sales of Nissan's luxury Infiniti brand of cars in North America. Through Nissan Forklift, the company distributes and sells Nissan's electric and gasoline-powered forklifts. Roles & Responsibilities in Upgrade:

Replaced the obsolete function modules and obsolete statement with suitable function module and method.

EPC (extended program check) and UCCHECK for each custom programs.

Imported ABAP queries, Report writer and report painter objects from 4.6c system to Ecc6 system.

Re-created Function modules which are not supported in new system.

Worked with HP Quality center (HP QC) to prepare test case scenarios and test plans for each object throughout upgrade in each system. For instance, initial plans in 4.6 then ECC6 dev system and ECC6 Quality system.

Updated Integration tests (IT1&IT2) results and UAT test results in HPQC.

Utilized Solution Manager (SolMan) tool for objects remediation and transport requests tracker for all objects. And also updated each object in scenario wise tracking with UC_CHECK, First_Pass and Ready-to-test.

Role in Development:

Developed Serial Number Program Upload through Module Pool program for Sales Order and Production Order.

Created Dialogue (Module-Pool) Program for ME2O (Stock Monitoring for Vendor).Stock, Open Qty, Qty to be Del, Qty on Hand. Based on Qty Del, User can Create Delivery Order and then saves to Excel.(Based on Sub-con Purchase Order)

Developed an ALV report for Vendor and Customer Aging.

Developed BADI for third party PO system will propose whether the material is approved or not will show as pop-up message.

Sales Order User-Exit used when changes made in characteristics of Sales Order, System will send the information to respective users (Sales Team).
