• Responsible for creating, managing, and producing accurate and timely print and digital graphics for all

Novartis Pharmaceutical components; examples: labels, cartons, package inserts, patient information

brochures, medication guides, blister packs, brochures, and shell packs. Assure artwork meets FDA

regulations and division guidelines.

• Collaborate with various organizations within the division, such as Marketing, Package Engineering, Product

Brand Teams, Medical Writers, Editorial Services, and Purchasing to ensure information is communicated

clearly, accurately, in a visually appealing manner and in alignment with the organizations overall brand and

messaging guidelines.

• Identify and provide successful design improvements that yield cost saving and improve efficiencies. Provide

graphic and logistical support for a variety of internal programs.

• Responsible for reviewing press proofs and color standards prior to printing.

• Heavy interface between in-house customers and outside vendors maintaining effective relationships

exercising strong follow through and problem solving skills. This is the key point of contact for all printed

component suppliers on artwork related issues.

• Effective liaise with external design agencies on regulatory labeling and graphic design modifications to

brand design for new concepts.

• Evaluate and identify hardware/software for the Macintosh Computers to improve productivity and

efficiencies.

• Follow artwork from concept to pre-press and post-production while maintaining original design intent,

messaging and quality standards throughout the process.

• Successfully met very tight deadlines for major new products, enabling the company to meet targeted

launch dates.

• Responsible for all aspects in the creation of the PDFs required for the Redi Documentum System and our

print vendors. Each PDF contains the proper document properties, description, embedded fonts,

and security required for each file.

• Coordinate, process, and track all labeling and package development diligently tracking status from

inception to completion utilizing Lotus Notes Database.

• Maintain Novartis FTP site for both internal customers and external vendors by tracking movement of

artwork, maintaining, and regulating filing system for press proofs.

• Produced quality artwork “the old fashion way” prior to Macintosh Computers by inking on mylar,

typesetting, stat camera, drawing, photography, and cut & paste mechanicals. All mechanicals were of high

standards with one or multi-separations.

• Designed posters for various organizations within AT&T using the Gerber Sign Maker with Optional Personal

Computer Unit to enhance design options and capabilities.

• Prepare layouts and comprehensives using makers, Image-N-Transfer (INT), pantone paper/film.

• Produced slide presentations utilizing the Agfa Typesetter.

• Received a Business Excellence Award from Novartis Oncology for outstanding contribution to the success

of the Afinitor product launch in 2010.

• Ridge Youth Sports Incorporated, JV Cheerleading Coach 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010. Had the

privilege of coaching an undefeated team capturing first place in their 2009 and 2010 seasons.
