• Developed, engineered and managed daily vendor(s)/contractor(s) scope of work for a new 26,500 square foot “Greenfield” packaging building addition at a cost of $6.35 million. A $1.5 million, 1000 ton modular chiller/boiler building was built to support the new packaging building addition.

• Sourced, developed, engineered and managed daily vendor(s)/contractor(s) scope of work for a new 40,000 square foot QA/QC lab. The new lab was programmed in two phases, completed in one year at a cost of $8 million.

• Installed and commissioned a 10L prototype and a 60L production scale-up NanoMill for Megestrol “Megace ES” ANDA submission and production.

• Provided IQ/OQ and PM documentation and execution.

• The Dial Corporation, W. Hazelton, PA, Scottsdale, AZ - Provided project and packaging engineering for the installation and startup of the 12 and 18 oz. Bodywash line for The Dial Corporation.

• ProjDel, Inc., Cincinnati, OH - Provided on-site project management for new manufacturing technologies for Pepsi R&D and Concentrate groups in Valhalla, NY.

• PEPPERIDGE FARM, INC., Norwalk, CT - Provided on-site project management for the de-installation, transport, and re-installation of two complete cookie and cracker production lines.

• FARBERWARE, INC., Bronx, NY - Scheduled, crewed and supervised daily and preventive maintenance repairs of production equipment to produce stainless steel cookware.

Process/Package Engineer/Project Manager

Responsible for conceptualization through completion of large scale engineering and manufacturing projects supporting marketing, R&D, and manufacturing operations with specific emphasis on new product introductions, existing brand improvements and preventative maintenance programs throughout all US bakeries.

• Managed $1.7 million flexible line project to produce Ritz Bits Sandwiches with both cheese and peanut butter in the Fair Lawn, NJ bakery. Developed PM program for new and existing production equipment.

• Managed $1.7 million scale-up development of manufacturing processing and packaging to produce new "Teddy Grahams" product line in the Philadelphia, PA bakery. Project generated $65 million in sales the first six months.

MAX FACTOR & COMPANY (now REVLON), Oxford, NC 1982 – 1987

$0.7 Billion Manufacturer and distributor of cosmetic and fragrance products

Senior Project Engineer

Responsible for conceptualization, definition, planning, implementation and completion of all capital projects supporting manufacturing and distribution.

• Led $500,000 building construction project and parking lot. Responsible for design criteria, architectural and general contractor selection, planning, scheduling and project completion.

• Identified site and managed renovation/retrofit of a 12,000 square foot warehouse into a management information systems facility. Project completed within four months and below the $250,000 budgeted cost.

• Managed the transfer of production equipment in the closing of the Clearview and Ogden, UT operations to the Oxford, NC facility. Scheduled and controlled cost to install and start-up transferred equipment with minimum impact to production at all sites.

• Managed the closing and transfer of equipment and materials from the Halston Fragrance facility in Dayton, NJ to Oxford, NC facility. Project required knowledge of GMP, building codes, environmental laws, EPA, state and local regulations.

PROCTER & GAMBLE COMPANY, Cincinnati, OH 1979 - 1982

Process Engineer

Responsible for the developmental scale-up and start-up of a new test market product "Monchel" process & packaging in the Soap Engineering Division. General engineering and packaging support across all US soap plants.

• Developed a continuous miniature soap mixing process utilizing an Allen Bradley process controller to replace a laboratory batch process system for a new glycerinated soap.
