Information Analyzer is a data mining tool which compiles the data from multiple databases to generate various users required reports and Maps. The returned data can be mapped onto a map control, grids, charts and crystal reports, using the available functionality within the application. The map control generates locations identified in the query on a map. It is a windows application. Integration of administrative hierarchy up to village level.

Responsibilities:

• The Information Analyzer is built, designed with ArcGIS Server 10 and .NET framework 2.0, Visual studio 2008.

• ArcGIS Server 10 is used to Design and Development of Map Functions like Query Builder, Buffer, Zoom In, Zoom Out, Print, etc.

• Arc SDE, MS SQL server 2008 is used as backend database and stored procedures are used extensively.

• Involved in making of Charts, Calendar generation of “custom Query” screen which shows the result in grid, chart and calendar.

2. Automated Tank Information System,

JSYS . (GIS Specialist) Ongoing-- 2011-2012

JSYS has already converted their Tank information of Karnataka State project Tanks to CAD. As JSYS decided to convert their complete Tank network to Web Application , this requirement is being accomplished using Visual Studio (C#), Arc SDE 10, Arc Server 10 , Custom Tools and Google Map APIs. Jquery is being used for GUI.

Responsibilities:

• Study of Client requirements.

• Verification QA/QC of tank toposurveys, Geo rectification and Geo referencing.

• Area Volume Relationship extraction out of contours.

• Export data from Auto Cad Software to ArcGIS Desktop.

• Rectification, Georefrencing of Data of Tank information.

• Making all the Data in Geodatabase (ArcSDE) format.

• Development of GIS tools as per client requirement using Arc objects.

• Support to existing system.

Asset Management Project:

High Resolution Satellite Images from Quickbird / Ikonos

o Google Earth images were considered for planning and initial activities, for towns where HR satellite data is not available

• Geo referenced satellite data in Geo tiff format.

• Boundaries of towns in shape file format

• SLD data as collected from department would be made available

• PDF files of layouts 1 : 5000 scale index maps and 1: 1250 scale maps of 250 m grid

• Grid layout in shape file format in UTM Z 44

• Base station co-ordinates and its location with description

• Contact details of TNEB staff for the town / Circle / Region

• Boundaries of town

• The Differentially processed data for all assets submitted, along with the raw data. Each point given the unique number as marked in the field.

• The processed GPS data of assets superimposed on to the satellite data to confirm its positional accuracy with respect to the nearby features like building / compound walls, junctions or any other visible permanent structure.

• The DGPS co-ordinates as surveyed given – as attribute in the table.

• For underground assets, the pipe locators has been used. The location of underground assets marked using GPS or thru offset measurements from the nearby structures / features.

• The location of these structures can be marked on the base map / satellite data.

• For underground network of service connection from the service/feeder pillar, the end point of meter / house connection been given a unique number. Unique Code within the 250 m grid.

• The same also has been marked on the map, precisely. Geo database of Assets been created
