Calibration Metrology Technician II March 2011- present

• Responsible for the calibration and testing of Test Cell Pressure Transducers and Test Cell Dew Point Pressure Transducer using Modular Transducer Calibration (ModCal). Software debugging of various test cells that included a DHI PPC4 Pressure Controller, Omega Environment Monitoring Unit and a Pressure Source. Also used Druck DPI510 Pressure standard.

• Performed calibration on Micromotion Elite series fuel flow meters and Pierburg Fuel Flow Systems using SFRTS (Selectable Fuel Rate Transfer Standard) and a Fluke PM6680B Timer/Counter reference standard.

• Calibrated a Torque System consisting of a Test Cell Dynamometer (Dyno), a Load Cell, a Dyno Controller and Signal Conditioner using a Morehouse Press, a Working Standard Load Cell (WS) and Modular Transducer Calibration (ModCal) Software.

• Calibrated Engine Speed Sensor (with a Mag Pickup) and Speed inputs for various instruments within the test cell (including a Data Acquisition system, PLC, Digilog, DEPAC, etc.) using a Phototach, Fluke PM6680B Frequency Counter and an ALTEK 241 Frequency Calibrator.

• Performed calibration on VXI Analog to Digital Scanner using aPH 3458A Digital Multimeter, as well as calibrated Thermocouples and Voltages using the Xitron 2000 portable calibrator.

• Coordinating and participating in installing units and systems to be tested in test fixtures. This included connecting valves, pumps, hydraulic, mechanical or electrical controls, cabling, tubing, power source, and indicating instruments.

• Monitoring of controls and instruments and recording test data for the engineering department.
