Principal, The Mast Group, Toronto. 1999 - 2010

Recent commercial projects include client-side project management and design consulting services for Aquilon Power Corp.; Aquilon Capital Corp.; The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board; Market Regulation Services Inc.; Northern Securities Inc.; and Publicis Canada's Toronto advertising offices. General services often include representation of the client in the selection of real estate and lease execution; contractual negotiations; design or design oversight; development of all project and construction budgets; scheduling; planning and program development consultation; initiating and developing design standards; selection and coordination of consultant and construction teams; telecommunications infrastructure build out and relocation; and project oversight and execution of all project requirements.

Associate, Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg Architects, Toronto. 1994 - 1999

Ammirati Puris Lintas, New York (World Headquarters), an advertising agency, involved the programming, design and construction of 250,000 s.f. of corporate office in mid-town Manhattan. Responsible for the overall management of the project's design and execution. The facilities were highly considered environments with meticulous attention paid to detail and aesthetics in the presentation of the environment and the work experience. In addition, was responsible for the development, production, and presentation - as the liaison, of the Interior Design Guidelines directive to the agency's international network of 56 offices.

Air Canada Club, in Toronto's Air Canada Centre - a member's lounge and restaurant complex. Involved the integration of the airlines loyalty brand experience into the design parameters and execution of the facility build out. Tasks included design, project management and contract administration for this 6,000 s.f. facility.

Indigo Books Music & Cafe, a national retail book store chain - responsibilities included the coordination, management, and client liaison responsibilities in the project construction delivery stages for three initial prototype store locations that range in size from 19,000 - 32,000 s.f. Actively involved in the initial branding and communications activities developing standards and merchandizing prototypes.

Architect / Project Manager, Seckinger and Associates, Miami Beach. 1993 - 1994

Design and project management for the construction of the Van Dyke and Island Club Hotel and Restaurants in Miami Beach. Included the design, program development, furniture design and construction oversight. Architectural and interior design development for three condominium and residential homes in Miami Beach, the Hollywood Hills, and Montecito.

Designer/Project Manager/Owner Operator, The Coffee Exchange, Miami. 1992 - 1993

Responsible for the development of this retail franchise prototype, including the initial cafe concept, the design and construction of the 1,700 s.f. interior; brand packaging design, marketing and merchandising. After completion, included the staffing, administration and management of operations.

Project Architect, Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg Architects, Toronto. 1989 - 1992

Development projects include The Westnor Development Project for Wittington Properties, a five million square foot mixed-use development Master Plan in North York, Ontario; and Palmerston Place for the Frum Development Group, included a four million square foot mixed-use in Scarborough, Ontario. Project Architect in the development of the master plans, including retail, commercial office, hotel facilities and residential space.

Design team member on the winning competition scheme for the J. S. Stauffer Library at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. In addition, a team member on the winning national competition scheme for the Kitchener City Hall, in Ontario. Both of these projects won Canadian Governor General's Awards in Architecture.
