ROLES & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Checking the paint materials as per relevant specification and product data sheet.
Responsibilities included planning for coating activities (surface preparation, painting, etc.) based on project drawings and specifications, obtaining company permits required for work, supervising and inspection activities, documentation, technical report writing and overall quality assurance and enforcing safety standards.

Preparing Daily/Weekly/Monthly progress Reports, Inspection Reports, Adhesion and Holiday Inspection reports including performing and demonstrating the required tests.
Monitor and assist crews by providing daily weather details, training in techniques, good practices etc.
Perform all inspection as per the ITP to verify the requirement as per drawings.
Carrying out inspections, analyzing and assessment of painting and coating systems in the industry Conversant with international standards like ISO, SSPC & NACE.
Monitoring the mixing of coatings and recording the batch ID
Monitoring and recording the environmental conditions during blasting and painting application.
Visual inspection of the steel members after blasting prior to painting.
Checking random surface profile readings on the blasted members with Testex tape.
Checking the WFT during the paint application.
Checking and recording the results of the DFT and carrying out visual inspection for any coating failure.
Co-ordination with client inspector.
Preparation of final documentation as per project specification and Inspection test plan.
Attend the daily/weekly meetings related to QC activities and scheduling of works.
In process inspection to assure clients that all specified aspects of a coating project are properly completed. Inspections typically include all quality aspects of a project ambient condition surface preparation & application through to final acceptance of the project.
Supervision and monitoring of sub contractor work force reviewing and certifying all QA/QC documents, site procedures, relevant codes of construction applicable to the projects.
Co-ordination with the third party inspection as well as client inspection as per the Project Specifications & Standards.
Co-Ordinate with client and sub contractors on daily basis to resolve any Quality issues.
Prepare Quality reports & job acceptance documents for project documentation
