Continental Airlines Customer Service Agent / Irregular Flight Operations
January 2000 - April 2011
Inbound calls as Customer Service Representative. As an "at home agent" worked on Continental Airlines Flight Operations and Recovery Desk. Working self timed through passengers lists of diverted, late, & canceled flights. Reworking tickets to re-accommodate displaced passengers.
I was employed by Continental Airlines & worked at the Tampa International Airport grounds, in a freestanding building with proper federal security clearance. This was Continental Airlines Ticket Offices, Management & Call Center. I began as a Customer Service Agent in office. Trained in Irregular Flight Operations during 2006. Moved to my home office in August 2009 as the building prepared for closing due to upcoming Continental/United merger. I was offered early retirement in Jan.11 to begin in April. Lay offs with the chance to be hired back perhaps in the future was also an option.
I took the early retirement to keep my flight benefits and stock package. Retirement began on 14April 2011.

Mise En Place Bistro Chef / General Management
March 1995-November 1999
I began with Mise En Place as a general restaurant chef. I worked with everyone in the rather small facility wherever I was needed. This brought me further into my career with them as a manager. I spent time as a Catering manager, evening Bistro manager, and then General manager. This was a family owned restaurant with many needs. I enjoyed my time with them working as a versatile employee. My change in positions were not due to gaining or losing positions but offering to fill where ever needed the most assistance. I love food , working as a chef, working with catering clients, and bistro customers. I left on good terms to pursue a career with Continental Airlines. This move was sure to expand my horizons and it certainly has. Mise En Place Bistro closed in late 2000.

My goal is to be hired by an exciting company and find growth within that company. I am a very self motivated home office worker. This career style works very well for my life. I have a completely separate and quite , efficient home office.
I am looking forward to finding a place within a company that I will learn many new things. I love diversity and the ability to work out any new work group opportunities that come about. I have always felt comfortable within my employment to take on tasks in which I am not yet familiar. Where ever I am needed, I am always willing to help. Whether it requires training or new skill sets , I am up for the challenge.
