The development or reinforcement of Quality Control, Inventory Control, Procurement, Sales, Master Scheduling, and Manufacturing. During this development we reduced inventory by $150k and improved customer on time delivery from 63% to 95%. In addition, set up a Management Review format for monthly reviews.

Responsible for Operations including Manufacturing, Material and Production Control, Procurement, Shipping/Receiving, Master Scheduling, MIS, and Machine Shop functions. Chaired successful implementation of totally integrated MRP system.

Improved Customer on time delivery from 48% to 98% as well as improving supplier on time delivery from 58% to 98%. Wrote procedures and led implementation of ISO

9000 and later AS9100. Set up Kanban programs. Reduced inventory by 1.2 million dollars. Headed Supply Chain Management Team to develop off shore supplier resources in China and Taiwan which, resulted in significant cost savings for the company. Introduction System. Since taking over Purchasing we affected a $250,000 cost savings. We also initiated an On Time Delivery program which improved our supplier delivery from 72% to 96%. Set up locator system in warehouse while reducing raw goods inventory from 9 million to 3.5 million and increasing inventory turns from 1.3 to 6.2. Worked with Marketing to extend the firm forecast from one month to twelve months time period improving manufacturing build plan accuracy from 68% to 98%.
